To develop & support assembly, testing, and manufacturing operations of electronic and electro-medical systems used in Neonatal Incubators, Infant Radiant Warmers, Phototherapy Units, Bubble CPAP Systems, Infant Resuscitators, Physiological Monitors, and associated neonatal consumables, ensuring high product quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electronics Assembly & Production Support
• Support day-to-day electronics and electro-mechanical assembly of neonatal medical devices.
• Ensure correct PCB assembly, wiring harness routing, connector fitment, grounding, and shielding as per approved drawings and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot electronic assembly issues, test failures during development.
2. Testing, Calibration & Functional Verification
• Perform and support functional testing, calibration, and safety checks for neonatal devices, including:
Temperature control systems
Radiant heater and incubator electronics
Phototherapy light intensity measurement
CPAP pressure and flow control electronics
3. Process Engineering & Documentation
• Prepare, review, and maintain DHF, Risk management, R&D QMS.
• Ensure implementation of ECO/ECN changes related to electronics hardware, firmware versions, and test processes.
• Support process validation and pilot production runs for new or modified products.
4. Quality & Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601-1 / IEC 60601-1-2 and IEC 60601-2 requirements during production and testing.
• The devices to be developed by the suppliers on the base of the requirements of PCB and other electrical components etc.
5. Cross-Functional & Supplier Coordination
• Support incoming inspection and supplier quality issues related to PCBs, power supplies, sensors, displays, and cables.
6. Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
• Drive Lean, Kaizen, and first pass yield improvement initiatives in development.
• Support cost reduction and alternate component qualification activities without compromising regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
• B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering.
• 2–6 years of experience in electronics assembly, R&D, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in medical devices, healthcare electronics, or regulated developing environments.
• Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, wiring harnesses, power electronics, and embedded systems testing.
• Exposure to neonatal, respiratory, or critical care medical devices is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, power supplies, sensors, and microcontroller-based systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams and test procedures.
• Experience with test instruments (DMM, oscilloscope, safety analyser, lux meter, flow/pressure analysers).
• Knowledge of medical device electrical safety and EMC basics.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for production environments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Electronics first-pass yield and defect reduction.
Design robustness, component selection, circuit validation, and early failure prevention.
Compliance to testing and calibration procedures.
Design verification discipline, traceability, and regulatory readiness.
The Logistics & Freight Operations Executive will support logistics operations by onboarding and managing logistics service providers, assisting in freight negotiations, supporting contract finalization in coordination with legal and procurement teams, and executing day-to-day logistics transactions using SAP and Ariba. This role requiring strong coordination, documentation, and system-handling capabilities.
Responsibilities
Logistics Vendor Onboarding & Management
Support onboarding of logistics vendors (transporters, freight forwarders, customs brokers) in line with company policies.
Coordinate with procurement, finance, and compliance teams to ensure completion of vendor documentation and approvals.
Maintain and update vendor master data in SAP and Ariba.
Freight Rate Coordination & Negotiation Support
Assist senior team members in freight rate negotiations for domestic and international logistics.
Collect, analyze, and compare freight quotations from multiple vendors.
Maintain rate cards and ensure correct application of approved freight rates.
Contract & Legal Coordination
Support preparation, review, and tracking of logistics contracts and service agreements.
Coordinate with legal and procurement teams for contract reviews, clarifications, and approvals.
Track contract validity, amendments, and renewals.
System Transactions & Documentation (SAP / Ariba)
Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and Service Entry Sheets (SES) in SAP.
Execute vendor onboarding, sourcing events, and contract uploads in Ariba.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of logistics-related documentation in systems.
Operational Coordination
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (planning, warehouse, finance, compliance, legal) for smooth execution of logistics operations.
Support tracking of shipments, freight invoices, and issue resolution with vendors.
Assist in basic MIS reporting related to freight cost, vendor performance, and contracts.
Qualifications
Logistics Knowledge: Basic understanding of domestic and international logistics operations, freight forwarding, and transportation processes.
System Skills: Working knowledge of SAP (logistics-related modules) and Ariba.
Required Skills
Strong coordination, documentation, and system-handling capabilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in logistics operations and vendor management.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering (ECE) or any related field.
Must have not less than 500 required number of internship hours. Or if willing to exend to 500 is better.
